Primary Health Medical Group is seeking qualified applicants for a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse for our Occupational Health Flu Shot clinics starting in August. Our flu clinics are provided in the corporate setting around the Treasure Valley. Two days a week you will travel to employer sites with a team of highly skilled professionals and administer flu vaccines. The other days of the week you will be able to pick up open available shifts.

Status: Casual - With the potential to grow into a more permanent position.

Hours: 20-40 hours per week

Schedule: Varies - Flu shot clinics / Float as needed

Responsibilities:

• Assist Front Office Staff in managing details of patients, schedule and referrals
• Assist Providers in casting, bracing, and injections
• Assist back office in managing patient flow, paperwork, and customer service
• Provide quality customer service
• Performs tests and procedures as ordered
• Accurately document patient encounters and interventions performed
• Relay provider instruction to patients
• Assist with all non-direct patient care tasks (autoclaving, stocking room, filing, mailing, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• RNs and LPNs will have current Idaho nursing license
•  Medical Assistants will have medical education and 2 years of relevant experience
• Venipuncture skills are required
• Computer proficiency is required
• Pediatrics and Spanish speaking experience is a plus.
