Primary Health Medical Group is seeking candidates for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Status: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

     The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will work with the CEO, President, and the Board of Primary Health Medical Group to ensure the financial performance of the company and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and
     other applicable financial regulations. The CFO will report to the President and will have direct-line communication with the CEO regarding strategic planning, contracting, and other high-level and critical matters affecting the financial success of the           company.    

 

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:

  • Insurance contracting with specific knowledge of value-based/risk-sharing contracting and contract optimization.
  • Experience with a large, multi-site, independent medical group in a mature, competitive market.
  • Experience with a medical group during a period of growth within a competitive market.
  • Experience managing relationships with hospital networks.
  • Experience with outpatient primary care, and physician compensation models.
  • At least five years of medical group accounting or finance at the management level is required.
  • Financial management skills, including ability to analyze data for projections, budgeting, operations, auditing, account receivable and reserve analysis, and proforma preparation.
  • For-profit and urgent care experience is preferred.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and other business support resources including financial and revenue accounting systems (MAS 90/Sage 100 preferred).
  • Revenue cycle analysis and improvement

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic planning and forecasting
  • Supply chain management
  • Knowledge of IT Operations & Security is desired
  • Knowledge of MAS90/Sage 100 is desired
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and regulatory compliance is desired
