Primary Health Medical Group is seeking qualified Charge Poster applicants for a full time position located at our Administrative Office in Garden City.
Status: Full time, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Create claims in electronic health record system with accuracy
Address and fix insurance, coding and other claim elements to ensure billing in a timely manner
Review and confirm clinic payments including co-pay, ROA and past collections are accurately posted
Maintain open communication with clinic staff to address and resolve charge questions
Medical billing, medical terminology, ICD-9 and CPT coding knowledge
Working knowledge of insurance rules and regulations
Above average customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation
Ability to prioritize and work independently
