Primary Health Medical Group is seeking a qualified Billing Specialist II applicants for a full time position located at our Billing Office in boise..

Status: Full Time, 40 Hours 
Location:  Billing Office - 3131 W. State Street  Suite 230  Boise, ID  83703
Schedule: Monday through Friday 830 am-5 pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily claims for submission to clearinghouse or paper submission
• Review claims for errors and work daily insurance rejections for corrected resubmission
• File appeals in a timely manner in compliance with contract limitations and ensure timely filing
• Manage payer correspondence and supply requested information
• Assist in customer service support telephone rotation
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings 
• Perform other duties as assigned, which may include assisting other team members with billing office functions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical billing, medical terminology, and the ICD and CPT coding system
• Working knowledge of insurance rules and regulations
• Above-average customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation
• Computer experience
• Strong organizational skills
• 10-key experience
• Ability to maintain a professional manner under busy circumstances
• Ability to prioritize and work independently
