Your Day.
As a Helpdesk Technician, you need to know how to:
- Support end users on a variety of issues
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
- Respond to telephone calls, emails, ticket system, and personnel requests for technical support
- Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolutions
- Resolve issues related to desktop computing, printing, and basic wired/wireless network
- Possess proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, web browsers, Helpdesk ticketing systems, and Microsoft Office 2016 as well as Office 365
- Collaborate with internal team members and other technical staff to identify support trends and resolve underlying issues
- Recommend workflow changes to improve first response time, average resolution speed, and escalation for urgent issues
- Assist Network Administrators with the inventory and lifecycle management of the desktop environment
- Effectively manage time to ensure work is done efficiently and accurately with limited or no supervision
- Maintain performance under pressure or opposition (such as time pressure or job ambiguity); handling stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and the organization
- Have availability to take rotating on-call shifts (evenings and weekends)

- High School Diploma
- IS/IT degree, certification, or equivalent experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Idaho Driver's License and proof of insurance
- A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals certifications, or comparable skills highly desired
