Primary Health Medical Group is seeking ARRT registered Radiology Technologists (RTs) to work in our busy urgent care clinics. Qualified applicants will be ARRT registered or eligible to sit for the registry exam. We provide training of basic nursing duties and the RT will be required to assist other medical staff in addition to taking x-rays. The chosen candidate will receive customized orientation and training to help you be successful in your nursing role and learning opportunities to continue to grow in your skills. You will work in a team environment to promote a positive experience in patient care with compassion and kindness. You will support licensed staff and provider(s) in providing an excellent patient experience by efficiently meeting the patient's needs. You will support efficient clinic flow and communicate accurately and positively with team members.

Schedule: Friday,  Saturday, Sunday    8am-8pm

  • Performing X-Rays in accordance with Primary Health policies and procedures
  • Highest quality customer service on the phone and in person
  • Assist Front Office Staff in managing details of patients, schedule and referrals
  • Assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider and/or physician
  • Provides clinical triage/communication as defined by protocol or per provider instructions
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients including sterilization, cleaning, and checks on medical equipment
  • Prepare basic laboratory tests on premises and prepares laboratory specimens
  • Perform Phlebotomy involved with proper collection, labeling, processing, and distribution of specimens for laboratory testing from patients of all ages
  • Assist back office in managing patient flow, paperwork and documentation
  • Provide quality patient education based on assessment of needs
  • Performs tests and procedures as ordered
  • Accurately document patient encounters and interventions performed
  • Relay provider instruction to patients
  • Assist with all non-direct patient care tasks (autoclaving, stocking room, scanning records, mailing, etc.)
  • Aids in identifying methods of improving patient care
  • Assists or leads in emergency situations
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the organization, i.e. HIPPA
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualified applicants will be ARRT registered or eligible to sit for the registry exam within one year of hire
  • Customer service oriented attitude/behavior
  • Computer proficiency is required and ability to use applicable software as required performing the essential functions of the job
