Your day.

As a Senior Immunization Coordinator, you need to know how to:

  • Assist the Immunization Operations Manager as the expert on all immunization protocols 
  • Assist Clinic Administrators through immunization process changes, vaccine updates, and staff education
  • Assist Clinic Administrators with internal vaccine transfers; travel is required
  • Participate in all assigned Idaho Immunization Program (IIP) clinic visits and ensure compliance
  • Complete and ensure compliance with quarterly immunization clinic audits to ensure clinics are in compliance with guidelines
  • Evaluate the proficiency of established staff regarding immunization processes and follow-up as needed
  • Act as the Immunization Coordinator for all clinics as assigned
  • Act as a PharmaWatch specialist and assist the Clinic Administrators with alerts at the clinic level
  • Assist the Immunization Operations Manager in educating staff in delivery and accountability for best immunization practices
  • Ensure compliance and quality through process oversight
  • Educate and train staff in immunization protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

  • 1 year with PHMG in good standing; Immunization Coordinator experience is preferred but not required
  • Active certification or licensure from a nationally accredited MA program.  In lieu of certification or licensure, an MA must have at least 5 years of clinical experience in a medical facility comparable to PHMG clinics, performing similar duties.
  • LPNs and RNs must have a current license from the Idaho Board of Nursing with no sanctions
  • Knowledge of pediatric immunizations
  • Familiarity with Idaho Immunization Program Protocols
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Recommended vaccines to include annual Influenza, Hep B, TDaP, MMR, Varicella, and TB skin test
